    Circulating microRNAs: potential biomarkers for cardiovascular diseases

    • 摘要: MicroRNAs(miRNAs)是一类长约21~25碱基对的内源性非编码小分子RNA,广泛参与细胞的增殖、生长、分化以及凋亡等病理生理过程。越来越多的研究表明,循环miRNAs的表达变化与心肌梗死、心功能衰竭、动脉粥样硬化以及高血压的发生发展密切相关,可望成为潜在的生物学标志物用于心血管疾病的早期诊断和治疗靶点。

       

      Abstract: MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are a class of small ( 21-25 nt), endogenous and noncoding RNAs. MiRNAs act as crucial regulators of a wide range of physiological and pathological processes including cell proliferation, growth, differentiation and apoptosis. Recent studies have revealed distinctive patterns of circulating miRNAs in myocardial infarction, heart failure, atherosclerotic disease and hypertension. These circulating miRNAs may therefore be used as potential diagnostic biomarkers and therapeutic targets of cardiovascular diseases.
