    Experience of using Kiwami catheter for percutaneous coronary intervention in severe calcified lesions

    • 摘要: 目的 总结Kiwami导管在冠状动脉重度钙化病变经皮冠状动脉介入(PCI)治疗中的使用经验。方法 44例冠状动脉重度钙化病变患者在PCI手术中使用4F Kiwami导管进行支架置入。回顾性分析这些患者的临床及影像资料,并收集手术结果、术中并发症以及主要不良心血管(MACE)事件。结果 其中43例(98%)患者通过Kiwami导管成功置入支架,并达到造影成功标准,1例(2%)患者因球囊扩张后夹层扩展至血管远段未能植入支架。所有患者手术过程中均未发生冠脉穿孔、血管急性闭塞、支架脱载等严重介入并发症。住院期间及随访期内所有患者均未发生MACE。结论 Kiwami导管操作简便,易于通过钙化病变,安全性好,成功率高。

       

      Abstract: AIM To summarize the experience of percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) using a 4F Kiwami catheter with Mother-Child technique for severe calcified lesions. METHODS The data of 44 patients with severe calcified lesions who underwent PCI using Kiwami catheter in our hospital from December 2015 to February 2017 were analyzed retrospectively. The results and the complications of PCI were collected, and MACEs were also observed. RESULTS Angiographic success was achieved in 43 patients who underwent stent placement through Kiwami catheter. The procedure failed in 1 patient because of dissection. There were no serious complications and no MACEs observed in any patients. CONCLUSION The Kiwami catheter can be used in severe calcified lesions.
