Abstract: AIM:To analyze the possible risk factors of senile degenerative valvular heart diseases (SDVHD). METHODS: Clinical data, cardiac ultrasound and other auxiliary examinations of 52 SDHVD patients and 68 patients without heart valvular calcification were analyzed retrospectively. Single factor statistical analysis of relevant factors between groups was conducted. A multifactorial logistic regression analysis between groups was conducted to identify the possible risk factors and their influence on the prevalence of SDVHD. RESULTS: Single factor statistical analysis showed significant differences in age, hypertension, coronary heart disease, and hyperlipidemia between groups. Multifactorial logistic regression analysis showed age, hypertension and hyperlipidemia were the possible risk factors for SDVHD. CONCLUSION: Risk factors for SDVHD include age, hypertension and hyperlipidemia.
