Abstract: Obstructive sleep apnea syndrome (OSAS) is a sleep-related breathing disorder. A close relationship has been found between OSAS and coronary heart disease. Ultrasonography can accurately reflect changes of the carotid artery structure and function, predict the occurrence and development of heart and cerebrovascular diseases, and provide reliable evidence for clinical diagnosis and treatment.
