Abstract: Myocardial fibrosis, a main pathological change of abnormal reconstruction of heart tissues, is the final stage of the development of various cardiovascular diseases, ultimately leading to progressive deterioration of cardiac functions. Bone marrow mesenchymal stem cell transplantation, a novel treatment for myocardial fibrosis, may provide the possibility for the reversal of heart function by regulating collagen, slowing the process of fibrosis, regenerating myocardial cells and improving heart tissue reconstruction.
