Abstract:
Treatment of coronary bifurcation lesions remains a challenging in the field of interventional treatment. Optical coherence tomography plays a significant role in post-procedural appraisal due to its high resolution. However, optical coherence tomography is not routinely applied in clinical practice except for severe lesions. There are no standard index and cut-off value to appraise the post-procedural stent status. In this review we summarized the different indexes involved in different studies and their correlation with clinical outcomes to provide reference in appraising clinical post-procedural effectiveness.
