Abstract:
PDZK1: a member of the protein family of Na
+/H
+ exchange regulators,is considered to be a classic cell membrane scaffold/adapter protein. Nowadays it is clear that PDZK1 can regulate the pathophysiological process of atherosclerosis by participating in lipid metabolism and HDL mediated signal transduction pathway in macrophages, endothelial cells and vascular smooth muscle cells. In the future, we should study the specific regulatory mechanism of PDZK1 in atherosclerosis deeply, so as to provide new and more effective potential targets for disease prevention and prognosis.
