Abstract:
AIM: To analyze Holter changes in seasick sailors in Chinese PLA navy global visiting task group. METHODS: We analyzed Holter changes in seasick sailors in Chinese PLA navy global visiting task group, respectively, from 1-5 days, 65-70 days and 125-130 days of the voyage. RESULTS: Compared with those of the non-seasick sailors, heart rate and premature beats of the seasick sailors increased and their SDNN, SDANN, SDNN index, RMSSD, NN50, PNN50, triangular index, VLF, HLF, VAI and VLI decreased. CONCLUSION: These findings suggest that the effect of sickness on the heart mainly comes from unbalanced heart autonomic activity.
