Abstract:
Patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD) often have heart valve disease, which is related to the increased incidence rate of heart valve disease in CKD patients. Some evidence suggests that valvular heart disease in CKD patients is associated with the degree of renal involvement. Heart valve disease is one of the complications of chronic kidney disease, mainly manifested as heart dysfunction, infection and thromboembolism, which have a negative impact on the prognosis and quality of life of CKD patients. This article provides a review of the latest research progress in valvular heart disease and chronic kidney disease.
