Abstract:
AIM To clarify the key contents, the main sources of materials and the methods so as to improve the quality of ideological and political construction of aerospace cardiovascular course.
METHODS A questionnaire survey was conducted in 25 five-year-program students majoring in aerospace medicine, 5 eight-year-program students majoring in aerospace medicine and 15 instructors from the Center of Clinical Aerospace Medicine, School of Aviation and Aerospace Medicine. All subjects were from Air Force Medical University. This survey was conducted on the key contents and the main sources of materials of ideological and political construction of aerospace cardiovascular course. Meanwhile, before and after the crouse, we inspected the attitude changes of all students about the career in medicine, army service, grassroots medical posts, aerospace medicine posts and works in remote area, and then, comparsion and analyses about the “willing” students before and after the course were also made.
RESULTS The respondents thought the ideological and political education of military duty, medical profession and aviation and health support should be the key contents of the aerospace cardiovascular course and the main sources of materials should include outstanding model troops, figures and glorious deeds during the history and new era of Air Force development and construction, as well as the touching stories from the service personnel in Air Force. After the crouse, attitudes of students toward career in medicine, army service, grassroots medical posts, aerospace medicine posts and works in remote area changed positively.
CONCLUSION Based on the survey results, optimizing the key contents, enriching the materials and improving the methods will enhance the effect of ideological and political construction of aerospace cardiovascular course.
