    Research progress in relationship between glucose transporters and cardiovascular diseases

    • 摘要: 葡萄糖转运体(glucose transporters, GLUT)承担葡萄糖的跨膜转运,参与心脏和血管的能量代谢调控,与多种心血管疾病的发生发展关系密切。GLUT存在多种亚型,不同亚型GLUT在心血管疾病发生中起着不同的作用,不同心血管疾病表现出GLUT亚型改变的差异。本文重点介绍各种GLUT亚型在心血管的表达及其变化,探讨GLUT在心血管疾病发生中的作用。

       

      Abstract: Glucose transporters (GLUT) undertake the facilitated diffusion of glucose. They are involved in the regulation of energy metabolism of heart and vascellum and are closely related to the development of many kinds of cardiovascular diseases. There are multiple subtypes of GLUT and different subtypes of GLUT play different roles in the development of cardiovascular diseases. Moreover, different cardiovascular diseases exhibit different changes in GLUT subtypes. This review highlights the expressions and changes in GLUT in cardiovascular system and discusses the functions of GLUT in the development of cardiovascular diseases.
