Assessment of a simple visual method of cardiac electric axis

AIM To evaluate the clinical value of a simple visual method of cardiac electric axis. METHODS The mean cardiac electric axes of 273 electrocardiogram (ECG) were measured by the simple visual method of cardiac electric axis and the results were compared with those of the table-look-up method. RESULTS No significant differences in the assessment of cardiac electric axis were found between the simple visual method and the table-look-up. CONCLUSION The simple visual method of cardiac electric axis can be used clinically in measuring the degrees of the mean cardiac electric axes.
