Abstract
Mitochondrial dynamic-related function is the process of maintaining normal physiological cell function by continuous fusion and fission, mitochondrial autophagy and mitochondria-endoplasmic reticulum physical coupling. Its abnormal function is closely related to the development of neurodegenerative diseases, tumors, optic nerve atrophy and diabetes. In recent years, studies of vascular endothelial cell (VEC) mitochondrial-related functions in cardiovascular disease have received extensive attention. Studies have found that the abnormal function of VEC mitochondrial dynamic-related functions play an important role in the occurrence and development of cardiac ischemia reperfusion injury, coronary atherosclerosis, pulmonary hypertension, dilated cardiomyopathy and hypertension. In this paper, the relationship between VEC mitochondrial dynamic-related functions and cardiovascular diseases is described.
