Analysis of Holter changes at sea and ocean in Chinese navy global visiting task group

    • AIM: To analyze 24-h Holter changes at sea or ocean in Chinese navy global visiting task group. METHODS: We analyzed Holter changes at sea or ocean in 48 sailors of Chinese navy global visiting task group. RESULTS: Compared with the group at sea, the average heart rate and the lowest heart beat at ocean were faster, highest heart beat was slower, sinus node dysfunction and premature contraction were more frequent, ST segment was lower, QTd, QTc and QTcd increased, and SDNN, SDANN, SDNN index, RMSSD, NN50, PNN50, Triangular index, VLF, HLF, VAI and VLI were lower (P<0.01). CONCLUSION: Our findings suggest that compared with the dysfunction at sea, the autonomic nervous system dysfunction is more serious at ocean in navy global visiting task group.
