Abstract
AIM:To investigate the effects of sodium ozagrel on vasopressin-induced myocardial ischemia and its mechanisms. METHODS: Myocardial ischemia was induced by vasopressin injection in rats. The effects of sodium ozagrel on ECG, malondialdehyde (MDA) level, superoxide dismutase (SOD) activity and PF4 in sera were observed. RESULTS: Sodium ozagrel significantly inhibited the changes of T-wave, lowered the level of MDA, increased SOD level and decreased the PF4 level in sera of rats with myocardial ischemia. CONCLUSION: Sodium ozagrel has some type of protective effect on vasopressin-induced myocardial ischemia, possibly through its effects on antioxidant and antiplatelet factor PF4.
