Application and assessment of Stent Boost in interventional therapy of coronary artery diseases

Stent Boost is a powerful x-ray imaging modality that provides enhanced stent visualization by eliminating motion artifact. This technique is more convenient, safe and time-efficient compared to IVUS and has lower procedural costs as well as a shorter learning curve of laboratory catheterization personnel. It can be used to guide PCI powerfully. In this article, we briefly review the imaging theory, clinical applications and limitations of Stent Boost.
