Abstract
AIM To observe the effect of trimetazidine combined with shenmai injection on myocardial injury induced by dithiolamlike. METHODS According to admission orders, 47 patients were divided into two groups: a standard therapy group (n=24) and a trimetazidine combined shenmai injection group (n=23). The standard therapy group accepted routine treatment and the combined therapy group accepted trimetazidine combined shenmai injection based on the conventional treatment. Length of hopitalization, cardiac biomarkers, C-reactive protein levels, electrocardiogram on immedate admission to the hospital and three days after treatment were observed. RESULTS The morbidity rate of myocardial injury by disulfiram reaction was 7.6%. Cardiac biomarkers and C-reactive protein levels were lower, total effective rate were higher [(87%) vs.(46%)], length of hopitalization were shorter [(43±22)h vs.(86±24)h in the combined therapy group than those in the standard therapy group (P<0.05)]. CONCLUSION The effects of trimetazidine combined shenmai injection on myocardial injury by disulfiram reaction were better than that of conventional therapy.
