    Application of problem-based learning combined with team-based teaching methods in the case teaching of heart failure

    • According to the characteristics of case teaching of heart disease, the course is lengthy, the content involves knowledge of many basic disciplines, it is abstract and difficult to understand, and the current teaching model is lacking. We integrated problem-based learning (PBL) and team-based learning (TBL) teaching methods into case teaching. This practice has proven that application of PBL and TBL teaching methods in small classes teaching clinical cases of heart failure can enhance the ability of students to master basic discipline knowledge, improve students autonomous learning ability and learning interests, enhance the spirit of exploration, and learn to meet practical needs. These teaching methods also provide new ideas and guidance for case teaching.
