Investigation and analysis of status of knowledge and behavior of health management in patients with implanted cardiac pacemaker

AIM:To survey the status of knowledge and behavior of health management in patients with implanted cardiac pacemaker. METHODS: A self-designed questionnaire was used to investigate 100 patients who were followed up after pacemaker implantation. RESULTS: Patients with implanted cardiac pacemaker had better awareness and behavior of health management. For the two bottom line items, profession and educational level were the influencing factors of the status of knowledge and behavior of health management. CONCLUSION: The concepts and knowledge of health management have not been popularized. Improvement of the social effects requires the cooperation of management, service and execution.
