Abstract
Ongoing evidence suggests that the unifying mechanism of diabetic cardiomyopathy (DCM) is oxidative stress. This article reviews the pathophysiological mechanisms of DCM caused by oxidative stress and suggests that the oxidative stress level in DCM patients significantly decreases after continuous subcutaneous insulin infection treatment.
