Progress of multispiral CT in diagnosis of coronary heart disease

With the development of modern imaging techniques, at present multispiral CT (MSCT), a coronary artery imaging technique used as a preferable noninvasive test method for diagnosis of coronary heart disease (CHD), has become a method for diagnosis of CHD and a “hot spot” of imaging studies. This article analyzed the MSCT evaluation of coronary artery calcification, coronary artery stenosis, coronary artery plaque properties, coronary artery postoperative changes and cardiac functions, showing the key role of MSCT in the diagnosis of CHD.
