Abstract
AIM To investigative the correlation between premature ventricular load and ventricular prematurity index and left ventricular ejection fraction( LVEF) in children with idiopathic premature ventricular contraction( IPVC). METHODS Sixty IPVC patients were divided into three groups according to premature load: group of premature load 6- 10%,group of premature load 10%- 25% and group of premature load > 25%. Patients were divided into two groups according to premature index:group of premature index > 0. 85 and group of premature index < 0. 85. RESULTS LVEF in the group of premature load > 25% was significantly lower than that in the group of premature load 6%- 10%( P < 0. 01) and LVEF in the group of prematurity index < 0. 85 was significantly lower than that in the group of premature index ≥0. 85( P < 0. 01). CONCLUSION Premature load is negatively correlated with LVEF and ventricular premature index is positively correlated with LVEF.
