Research progress in using admission systolic blood pressure to predict mortality in patients with cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases

    • In recent years, many studies have confirmed that admission systolic blood pressure( SBP)may be an independent risk predictor of heart failure, acute coronary syndromes and severe brain injury. The lower the admission SBP is,the higher the mortality will be. But can the admission SBP be used to predict the mortality of patients complicated with diabetes? This review will provide answers to this question.
