Abstract
AIM:To report successful catheter ablation of anteroseptal focal atrial tachycardia(AT) from the aortic non-coronary sinus cusp.METHODS:Six patients three males and three females with paroxysmal AT for(6±3) years were mapped and ablated in both atria and aortic non-coronary sinus cusp.RESULTS:ATs were easily reproducibly induced and terminated by atrial pacing in the six patients.Multiple radiofrequency ablation at the anteroseptal region of the atria failed. However, mapping in the aortic non-coronary sinus was successful. All six patients were free of AT during the following 3 to 17 months.CONCLUSION:Mapping and ablation from the aortic non-coronary sinus cusp is a safe and effective approach, especially when ablation of AT fails at the bundle region.
