Research progress in hyperbaric oxygen therapy for cardiovascular system

Hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) as a special physical therapy, has been widely used in clinical practice. However, its therapeutic mechanism has not been fully elucidated and the potential side effects remain to be clarified. Based on the review of previous relevant research, the author summarizes the principle, side effects, effects on the cardiovascular system and its application in the field of aerospace medicine to provide new ideas and directions for HBOT mechanism research and wider application.
