Research progress in treatment of pulmonary arterial hypertension with pulmonary denervation
-
Abstract
Over-activation of the sympathetic nervous system plays an important role in the progression of pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH). Pulmonary artery denervation (PADN) is currently an interventional method for non pharmacological treatment of PAH. This review introduces the innervation of the pulmonary artery neurohormone axis, as well as the animal studies and clinical trial results of PADN in PAH.
