Research progress on the correlation between the neutrophil to high density lipoprotein cholesterol ratio and acute coronary syndrome

    • Abnormal lipid metabolism and inflammation take critical parts in the pathogenesis of cardiovascular diseases. In recent years, the neutrophil to high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C) ratio (NHR) has attracted widespread attention as a new index composed of inflammatory cell and lipid.A large number of studies have shown that NHR has significant clinical value in predicting the occurrence, severity and prognosis of acute coronary syndrome (ACS). At present, the research on the correlation between NHR and ACS has made comprehensive progress, and this paper aims to systematically summarize it.
