    Research progress on the correlation between SIRT1/AMPK signaling pathway and atherosclerosis

    • In recent years the mortality rate caused by Atherosclerosis (AS) has increased rapidly, which has seriously impaired people’s health. In this paper, oxidative stress, autophagy, apoptosis and the relationship between SIRT1/AMPK signaling pathway are discussed in the prevention of atherosclerosis, and the role of resveratrol, curcumin and ginsenoside in regulating SIRT1/AMPK pathway in AS is discussed, providing new therapeutic ideas for the development and prevention of the disease.
