Abstract
In recent years, with the continuous improvement of tumor treatment technology, the survival time of patients has been extended and the problem of radiation induced cardiac injury has become increasingly prominent. Reducing the cardiac complications that occur during radiotherapy has become an important research direction. This article reviews the research progress on the pathogenesis of radiation induced heart disease (RIHD) in recent years, summarizes some common clinical symptoms of RIHD and focuses on the research on the prevention and treatment of RIHD with radiation damage drugs and cardiac protective drugs, in order to provide literature support for the study of strategies for using drugs to prevent and treat RIHD.
