Mechanism analysis of high incidence of aortic dissection in patients with chronic kidney disease

    • Aortic dissection (AD) is the most catastrophic disease, and the reason for its occurrence can be summarized as the imbalance between the aortic injury and the anti-injury factors. Chronic kidney disease (CKD) can aggravate this imbalance, so patients with CKD are more likely to catch AD than the general population. At present, most studies on AD exclude CKD patients from the research. In the studies related to CKD and cardiovascular diseases, AD accounts for a small proportion. It can be said that compared with other cardiovascular diseases, AD has received rare attention in CKD patients. This study will focus on the mechanism of CKD patients complicated with AD.
