Research progress in miRNA influence on inflammatory factors related to coronary heart disease

    • Coronary heart disease is a clinically common disease, causing a huge social and economic burden, and its onset is often considered as a chronic inflammatory process. A large number of studies have shown that the differential expression of MicroRNAs (miRNAs) is closely related to the occurrence and development of coronary heart disease. This paper summarizes the effects and mechanism of miRNA differential expression on coronary artery disease-related inflammatory factors (matrix metalloproteinase-9, soluble vascular endothelial cell adhesion molecule 1, monocyte chemokines, tumor necrosis factor, interleukin 1, 6, 10) to provide support and reference for further research of miRNA as a specific biological marker for the diagnosis and treatment of coronary heart disease, or for simulating miRNA for new drug development.
