    Evaluation of QT/JT interval in bundle branch block or ventricular pacing: research progress

    • Prolongation of the QT interval is associated with the development of malignant arrhythmias. Bundle branch block or ventricular pacing alters the physiologic sequence and rate of ventricular depolarization, resulting in a false prolongation of the QT interval. How to accurately, conveniently and quickly evaluate QT interval has been widely discussed by clinicians. Recently, some scholars have proposed that it is more accurate to use the JT interval instead of the QT interval in the bundle branch block or ventricular pacing setting in evaluation of the ventricular repolarization time. Therefore, many correction formulas for evaluation of QT/JT interval have been proposed. This article reviews the research progress of QT/JT interval evaluation in bundle branch block or ventricular pacing in order to provide reference and help for clinicians.
