Visualization analysis of ambulatory blood pressure monitoring research hotspots based on Citespace

  AIM  To analyze the research hotspot and current situation of ambulatory blood pressure monitoring application in recent 10 years, and to provide reference for clinical research.

  METHODS  The literatures of ambulatory blood pressure monitoring published in the web of science core collection database from 2011 to 2020 were retrieved, and the published literatures were analyzed by Citespace software, including research institutions, authors, countries and keywords, to draw the knowledge map.

  RESULTS  A total of 3480 articles were included, which showed an increasing trend year by year. Kazuomi kario has the largest number of posts, ranking first with 77 articles, and their cooperative network is relatively stable. The University of Milan Bicocca ranks first in the list of high-yield institutions, followed by Columbia University. The cooperation network of institutions shows geographical advantages. Based on the cluster analysis of 97 high-frequency key words, nine cluster labels were formed, covering the purpose and evaluation index of ABPM.

  CONCLUSION  Citespace software directly shows the current research hotspot and achievements of ambulatory blood pressure monitoring in foreign countries, provides reference and help for the research in China, and has positive significance for the development of ABPM.
