Visual analysis of CiteSpace in heart failure with anemia

    •   AIM  To conduct bibliometrics and visual analysis of the relevant literatures of heart failure and anemia, and to explore the research status, hot spots and development trends in recent years.
METHODS  Retrieving the core database of Web of Science (WOS) and using CiteSpace.5.6.R3 visual analysis software to analyze the annual development, journals, national/institutional distribution, author status and keywords of heart failure and anemia related literature in the cardiovascular field from 2000 to 2019, Draw a visual map and analyze the results.
RESULTS  The annual volume of articles published is generally on the rise, and has good research prospects. European Journal of Heart Failure, Journal of the American College of Cardiology, American Journal of Hematology are the core impact journals. The United States, the United Kingdom, Italy, and the Netherlands are closely cooperating in this field, and the University of Groningen, Duke University, and Mayo Clinic have close cooperation and high influence in this field. The authors with the highest volume of articles and authors with the highest volume of citations are Van Veldhuisen DJ and Silverberg DS.
CONCLUSION  This field has always been a hot research in epidemiology, etiology, treatment and prognosis. The study of myocardial iron metabolism is the frontier in this field.
