Abstract
The mammalian target of rapamycin (mTOR) is atypical serine/threonine protein kinase, which interacts with specific proteins to form mTORC1 and mTORC2 complexes.mTOR signaling pathway plays a key role in the regulation of protein synthesis, autophagy, survival, and stress in cells.More studies show that mTOR signaling pathway plays an important role in the occurrence and development of coronary heart disease. This article mainly discusses the mechanism of mTOR in coronary heart disease.
