Abstract
Coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) is one of the main treatment methods for coronary heart disease, which can effectively increase coronary blood flow and improve clinical symptoms. Sequential and individual anastomoses are two different ways of CABG and most of the early studies found that sequential anastomosis has better long-term patency than individual anastomosis. However, most of these studies were based on clinical data and operations mainly performed under on-pump CABG in other countries and their findings are not very convincing considering operations off-pump CABG and the actual situation in China. According to the latest research progress, this paper reviews the application of sequential and individual anastomoses and compares their clinical effects.
