Abstract
Circular RNAs (circRNA) are members of the long non-coding RNA family and have a closed loop structure, so they are more stable than other linear non-coding RNA. With the development of qualcomm sequencing technology and bioinformatics, a large number of circRNAs have been detected in the inside and outside of cells, blood and saliva, etc. CircRNAs have been proven to be associated with the development of human atherosclerosis, myocardial infarction, heart failure and other cardiovascular diseases, and may be a more ideal biomarker for disease diagnosis. In this review, the molecular mechanism of circRNAs in cardiovascular disease is reviewed.
