Percutaneous left atrial appendage closure: interpretation of current guidelines

With the progress of interventional cardiology, the prevention of stroke by percutaneous left atrial appendage occlusion stroke has attracted more and more attention. Recently, the guidelines and expert consensus at home and abroad concerning percutaneous left atrial appendage closure have been published and updated, which provides us the indications, the institutional and operator requirements for left atrial appendage occlusion. Percutaneous left atrial appendage closure has not been wildly carried out in china， therefore we must have some insight into it about its indications, contraindications, the choice of the closure devices and the institutional and operator requirements for left atrial appendage occlusion.
