Analysis of 1-year effects and risk factors of endovascular repair for complicated DeBakey III aortic dissection

    • AIM To analyze the 1-year effects and risk factors of endovascular repair for complicated DeBakey III aortic dissection. METHODSForty patients underwent endovasccular repair from January 2013 to July 2015 and were divided into two groups (thrombus in full false-lumen and thrombus in partial false-lumen). The 40 patients were followed for 1 year and results were compared. RESULTSMultiple linear regression indicated thrombus in false-lumen was linear with surgical time (B=-0.058, P=0.000) and multiple tears (B=-0.031, P=0.032). Pearson analysis showed a negative correlation between thrombus in full false-lumen and surgical time r=-0.731, P=0.000). CONCLUSIONFor complicated Debakey III aortic dissection, surgical time is important for thrombus in full false-lumen after TEVAR.
