AIM To visually analyze the literature related to PPAR and lipid metabolism by using CiteSpacesoftware and find the research hotspot, trend and progress in this field in recent years.
METHODS Web of Science core collection database was taken as the research object and CiteSpace 5.7R2 was used to visually analyze the literature, explore the amount of documents issued by countries and institutions in this field, key hot words and high-quality cited articles and derive the relevant atlas.
RESULTS A total of 8737 literatures were included, PPARγ and lipid metabolism were the most frequently cited keywords, Pawlak M (2015) was the most frequently cited literature, TONTONOZ P was the most frequently cited author and the United States was the country with the largest number of publications.
CONCLUSION This study uses CiteSpace as a tool to visually analyze the literature related to PPAR and lipid metabolism, and display it in the form of map, so as to reveal the research hotspots, trends and progress in this field, and provide ideas for further research in the future.
