AIM To study and analyze the application value of ecg scatter plot in the diagnosis of late onset atrial premature beat (APB).
METHODS From Decembe 2017 to May 2019, 200 patients with suspected late onset APB who were diagnosed and treated in our hospital were selected as subjects for observation. All the patients were examined by electrocardiogram and electrocardiogram, and the sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of late onset APB diagnosed by different examination methods were compared. In addition, 80 patients with delayed APB and unclear sinus arrhythmia admitted to our hospital during the same period were selected to compare the misdiagnosis rate of electrocardiogram scatter plot and routine electrocardiogram. The risk factors of APB was analyzed.
RESULTS The sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of ECG were 93%, 95% and 94% respectively. Compared with 82%, 79% and 82% of conventional ecg, the missed diagnosis rate(7%) and misdiagnosis rate(5%) of ECG were significantly lower than those of conventional ecg(18% and 21% respectively, all P <0.05).
CONCLUSION Electrocardiogram has high sensitivity, specificity and accuracy in the diagnosis of late-onset APB.
