Abstract:
AIM To investigate the willingness of the exclusive nursing students to participate in the “Internet + nursing service” of home cardiac rehabilitation for patients with cardiovascular diseases and to provide a basis for alleviating the shortage of home cardiac rehabilitation nurses for patients with cardiovascular diseases.
METHOD From April to May 2022, 224 nursing students who upgraded from junior college to university in a Xi’an university were selected as research subjects by convenient sampling method. Their intention of participating in “Internet + nursing service” was investigated by questionnaire.
RESULTS The score of behavioral intention of participating in “Internet + nursing service” was (5.86±1.92) in the nursing students upgrading from junior college to university and a statistically significant difference was found in the score of behavioral intention between student cadres and non student cadres (P<0.05). Perceived behavioral control was positively correlated with attitude and behavioral intention (r=0.802, 0.831, both P<0.01) and attitude had a partial mediating effect between perceived behavioral control and behavioral intention, accounting for 15.21% of the total effect. The mediating effect of attitude between perceived behavioral control and behavioral intention was regulated by perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness (P<0.05).
CONCLUSIONS Nursing students upgrading from junior college to university have strong intention of participating in “Internet + nursing service”. Colleges and universities should pay attention to the mediating and moderating effects of the attitude of nursing students to participate in the “Internet + nursing service”, take a variety of measures to cultivate positive attitude towards the “Internet + nursing service” and enhance the perceived behavioral control level in the nursing students, thus enhancing their behavioral intention.
